We made it home!

Well that was fun.  We all got sick on the second to the last day and had to cancel the Pittsburgh show.  Sorry Pittsburgh.  We’ll be back.

All in all it was a success, we made enough money to pay for gas and to mail out all your orders.  We’re nearly ready to mail, it should be happening within the next two weeks.  Also look out for the “Running Home” video – it will be going live as soon as the clock ticks over into the 17th!

We had a day off and took some fun pics with a photo manipulation app on Greg’s iThing.  Just added a gallery plugin…  give it a whirl!

A Night At The Foundry

We had a fine ride out from Indy to Lakewood, just outside of Cleveland.  The Foundry is a solid rock club.  The bands we play with there are often a mishmash of people who were in bands we played with the last time, an epic flux of awesome music.  Sister Pit, Infalling and Third World Leader were awesome.  Something Involving A Monkey was of course funny – and really good, which is a rare talent.  But we know those guys and we knew that already, but they got better.  Again.  Nice work boys.

We’ll be staying the night at the Monkeys house and cooking some victuals in the morning.  Thanks Joe and Ritz!

Off to Ohio we go

Indy was a blast.  We played at The Rock House.  We got off to a rough start, Phil M had car trouble on his way to Marks house, delaying us about 1 1/2 hours from our intended leave time.  The trip was quite slow, icy, slushy, rainy and foggy – not to mention the fresh multitudes of potholes from the dramatic temperature change.  When we arrived in Indy at the wrong address, we nearly cried.  20 minutes later we arrived at a venue loaded with farm animals.  There was a monkey, a rabbit, a chicken and a horse.  The horse came up on stage and danced with us during Horses Head.

The show was a success, Bizarre Noir was awesome.  The sound at The Rock House is exceptional.  Despite the rough beginnings we’re all happy again and enjoying ourselves.  We stayed the night at Daves sisters house, had a delicious breakfeast and hung out with Daves nieces and nephews.  Thanks Beth!

Now we’re off to Cleveland (Lakewood).  Can’t wait to play!

Full Color Apparel No Longer Available

We wouldn’t be Ideamen if we didn’t take risks and screw up once and a while.  What a heroic way to put it, but the fact of the matter is we screwed up.  Acquiring the full color merchandise turned out to be a much more complex process than we assumed, and you know what assuming does for you and me.  We are not able to make the proper arrangements in time, and as a result, we can’t sell something we won’t be delivering.  The 2 items that will not be available are the “Schemata Album Cover Shirt” and the “Socrates Hoodie”.

tee-schemata cover colorhoodie-socrates back colorFortunately for us (and you) there weren’t a whole lot of them sold, and most of them were bought by people we know personally.  Hopefully you can forgive us.  I wanted a hoodie, and I know you did too.  We’ll contact you all and do our best to make up for it.  We’ll be offering solutions like refunds for the missing items and/or exchange options for other merch.

Our apologies for the mishap.  In other news of awful mistakes…  We’re about to go on tour in the middle of one of the worst snowstorms in recent history.  Dig your way out and come see us!

In other news, we’ve received the Pins and Buttons – Check it out!

Brass Pin-GearLogoBottle Opener ButtonThe pins are smaller than we thought…  and the buttons are huger than we thought…  so it evens out.  We think.  We’ll be reducing the price of the pins to $5 now that we’ve seen them.  They’re awesome, just small.  But awesome.

Finally…  What is that?

Huh?

Break more stuff!

I heard that if we break stuff, we get successful.  Do we hope that’s true?

Miller done busted his guitar at the Township show.  I looks awful…  He was so proud of that thing.
