We actually hit it last night, just 5 days into the campaign. This is great! We’re thinking about picking up the Zippos early so we can get some pics to update the photoshopped images in the store. Thank you.
At the $1500 goal we get to do something special. We’re going to scan the Ideamen lyrics notebooks and post the crunched results for you to download and peruse. It won’t be available immediately, partly because Dave hasn’t finished scanning them, but mostly because Schemata is still waiting on some copyright detaily stuff. This is the same reason you can’t hear any of the music yet, or watch the videos. But now we all have something to look forward to.

Played a show tonight, and sold some merch. Of course we’re going to apply that to the campaign fund. It was enough to bring us past the $1250 mark, which is exciting for two reasons – it’s the halfway point, and it lets us release the remix of “Collectibles”! Have a listen on the downloads page. We hand delivered an Alien Head tonight, thanks James.

Hey! Yeah we said you’d get access to a download but we didn’t say when. Soon. Minutes actually, an hour at most if it borks. I’m working on a page that will let you grab them. We decided that instead of setting up some complex scheme where we send you a username and pass and you log in and get it and blah blah blah… we’re just gonna let everyone have it. You get the satisfaction of knowing that you made that possible. Thank you in droves for your support so far!
I’m gonna cry. In the good way – you folks are coming through for us much faster and in greater numbers than we expected. The response has been nothing short of exceptional. We just crossed the $1000 mark – 20 hours into the campaign. We actually expected to reach this milestone after about a week or so. There’s some time sensitive merch that will take a month to get to us. We can buy it now, and replace those fake and photoshopped images sooner. Thank you.
We will be ordering the Pins, Patches, Hats and Buttons. We’re currently making arrangements for the Hoodies and Schemata Cover Shirts. We’ve got some time before we have to order everything else, but at the rate your support is coming in, we may be able to get it sooner than we thought. You rock.
Soooo – at the $1000 goal – we’re gonna sign all the CD’s ordered during the campaign, then sign up for insurance to handle the carpal tunnel syndrome. I’m glad our new website is working slightly better than theirs.
Speaking of the website, it has been brought to our attention that if you order multiple items, say a CD and a Pin, The shipping calculator will double the shipping. That sucks, and all the research I’ve done on it so far says that’s how the software works and there’s nothing you can do about it. We’re going to do something about it. Order what you want, we will be watching the orders closely and will refund any overcharges through PayPal. Thanks to Heath for the valuable information about this problem in thee wee hours last night. Your electro-check is in the inter-mail.
You have no idea how nervous we were putting such a rediculous goal based campaign like this together. Thank you all so much for fulfilling our dreams, and so quickly. We’re a few bucks away from being able to order the first batch of merchandise.
